The Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress was the final and most heavily armed variant of the iconic WWII bomber. “Man O’ War II” served with the 91st Bomb Group, 8th Air Force, flying from Bassingbourn, England. Four crew members survived as prisoners of war; five were lost with the aircraft.
